Day 240 - Back to work today

Back to work after a 2 week fight of pneumonia
and 6 days off as sick days (PTO).
I had been thinking I would have to take my vacation time without my husband.
Well, no more worry about that-
used it as sick time instead...UGH.
Awfully tired tonight.
Sewed the last of the 3 church aprons this morning.

Tonight when I got home Michael had the computer set to watch
a movie and while we did that I worked on making some more
paper minis: Twinkies, Premium Saltines, Tide, Pepperidge Farm
Chocolate cookies, Little Debbie Devil Cream cakes and
Pepperidge Farm Chunk Mini cookies.
Time for bed...night.

Day 239 - Church Aprons, Paper Minis

My last day off work.  Still coughing but up all day.
Not a busy as a feeling 100% day
but I did do some quiet crafting.
Made 2 of the 3 aprons I was commited to make for church.
One is a "Tea" theme and the other is a BBQ theme.

I made some more paper minis.
Wish I could figure out a better way to photograph these-
it is something I really have to work at...
a Halloween bag, box of Minute Rice, box of Ponds cold cream.

A clock, an "old style" computer keyboard and tower,
Ding Dongs, Grape Nuts cereal, Special K cereal,
top of a box of Checkers and Chess, a box of Olay face cream
and a box of 12 Taco Bell taco shells.

Day 238 - Plugging ahead

A quiet Sunday here- again at home but
my Mom came to visit which was a day brightener.
Spent my day mostly engrossed in making paper minis again...
Did put another coat of poly on my mini fairy door from Micaela.

Sewed the apron ties and neck loop for an apron for church.

And then there are the minis...
This is a set of 8 sewing cards in their box
and a Little Golden book called We Help Mommy

This is a box with pizza in it, a menu from the pizza place,
a box of spagetti and a box of pasta.
Same photo but the pizza box is closed.

Two (uncut) sheets of paper dolls and
a complete set of a Joan Walsh Anglund paper doll and 10 sheets
of clothing in their own little box/book.

Two little bags of the good expensive cookies.

And finally (and I don't know what I will do with this)
a charming little lean-to barn.

I could do this forever...and all out of paper!

Day 68 - Cutting blocks & sewing aprons

Finished cutting the bits of flannel I brought home from church.  They are all cut 3 1/2".

Also cut out the 3 aprons for the Palm Sunday church sale.
I did get a start on sewing the "tea" themed apron.

(You can see Pete on the left top side of the photo sitting on a box.)
